Condensed Milk - 1 cup
Elaichi Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 1.5 cups
Method
Cut the fruits into halves, remove the seeds but do not remove the peel. Cut the fruits into small pieces. Heat half cup of water and add the chopped fruits. Cook the fruits on low fire for 3-4 minutes or till most of the water dries up. Now mix in the laichi powder and the condensed milk and continue to cook and stir on low fire. Cook till most of the milk has been absorbed into the fruits. Add ghee a little at a time and cook till the mixture is almost dry. Remove to a se3rving dish and garnish with dried fruits. When kept in the fridge the halwa will last for 3-4 days.
